Cause:
In the table top eWA machine, it’s foaming flux.
In eWA Series, M series and E series, it’s spraying flux type.
What type of flux can be used in these machine ?
Cause:
No limit for flux.
How to preheating board ?
Cause:
In table top eWA series machine, it’s IR panel preheating.
In eWA Series, M series and E series, it’s hot air convection type.
What’s difference for these two preheating ways ?
Cause:
IR is more efficient, but not as uniform as hot air. It’s sensitive to board’s and component’s color.
Hot air can provide more uniform heat to all components.
When do I need to consider top preheating zone ?
Cause:
For thick PCB, or PCB has heavy components at top side like heat sink, big capacitor etc. To grantee the good solder fill, better to equip with top preheating zone.
What’s solder pot tank made of ?
Cause:
For eWA machine, it’s made with cast iron coated with ceramic.
For M series, E series, eWA machine, it’s made with Ti material.
Both material is friendly with lead free solder and can be 3 years warranty for the tank.
How to lower the solder dross quantity per day ?
Cause:
Keep solder liquid in good level in tank, reduce solder wave’s drop distance from wave to solder surface.
Set proper wave height according solder’s feet or pallet’s thickness. Higher wave will generate more dross.
What can we do for the dross collected in solder tank ?
Cause:
Use our SDS-10MS solder dross separator, it will separate dross and pure solder in physical way, no need add any chemical.
